PARKS OR PARCS
As previously mentioned, I was lucky enough to be invited to share a holiday with friends in this nice little cottage.

Situated in the middle of a forest and with many small lakes around, there are, as you would expect, many examples of nature around. Indeed, one claim to fame that Centre Parks here have, is a fascinating nature / bird sanctuary, which I’ll admit, I enjoyed looking round.
Nature was keen enough to come and visit us from time to time as well!
What a nicely spicy time we had with home made chili one night, curry the next and freshly caught and imported haggis another (I know it is out of season but if you don’t tell…..).
The best way around the various facilities is by bike (assuming you can stay on it, as Graham found out!)
It gets dark at night. You probably know that! They do at the resort, so to help cyclists avoid running over to many pedestrians, they sell light sticks. Clever little things that you snap and shake and they make light. Blue light, red light, yellow light, all sorts of colour lights! Very sensible but they can also be fun!
One of the many attractions to help fill the time between the last drink and the next meal is a crazy (mental!) golf course. As you can see, I had to adopt a pool playing style to get out of one hazard (a skill which, oddly, would be called upon again very soon)
With a fair amount of time splashing around in the pool with waves and slides et al, a really fun and relaxing week shared with old friends and new. My thanks to you all.
