THE TRIP - WEEK 6,7,8,9 (part 5) - NEW ZEALAND
As my parting from New Zealand loomed, I headed for Auckland and my flight to LA. On the way was the evidence of the damage caused by the heavy rain I mentioned in my last edition.
Following hitting the heights in Melbourne, I had to try the highest building in the southern hemisphere, Sky City in Auckland.
Certainly looks a long way down.
Look at that titchy wee building below.

Blurry picture showing my next destination. First delay of about 2hrs. Love it when they tell you the reason is a faulty engine to which the engineers are fitting new parts. Sometimes it may be better to say "waiting for food and drink to go aboard"!
